In order to proceed with the annual return you will need to update your charity details.

Trustees have a legal duty to keep the registered details of the charity up to date.

The details you can change and must keep up to date include:

  • The description of your charity's activities
  • The charity's classifications - what is does, who it helps and how it does it
  • Where your charity operates
  • Current contact details for trustees, chair and charity contact (names, address, email address, date of birth)
  • Registered address for your charity
  • Company number (where applicable)
  • Governance, policies, regulators and gift aid
  • Bank and or building society details
